Awards
Awards Won SriLankan Airlines had an awards ceremony for London Agents for the first time in February 2002. This Inaugural Awards Ceremony was a fantastic event held at the Grand Ball Room at the Mount Lavinia Hotel in Sri Lanka. About 35 agents from London were invited to this event together with the entire Travel Trade in Sri Lanka totalling about 300 guests in total. The British High Commissioner in Sri Lanka was also present. Tarobane Travel / Sri Lanka Tours were awarded the Premier Agents Award at this glittering ceremony. Since then we have won awards of appreciation from SriLankan Airlines every year and on two occasions our associate company Sri Lanka Holidays received the Sri Lanka Tourism Award again the only SriLankan Company to receive this award.
We also received an Award of Excellence in 2004. This award was presented to us at our 25th Anniversary party held at the Churchill Intercontinental Hotel in London.
